In the town of Arnold Maryland, which is located in Anne Arundel County is Anne Arundel Community College. This is a 2 year college that gives students either a step up into a university or allows those that would like to go right into the work force to be better prepared for their careers.

Established in 1961, the Anne Arundel Community College opened it's doors to around 200 students. It now has an annual enrollment of some 21,000 students which are about 62% female. They have a staff of well over 200 full time individuals, with over 30% of them holding doctorates.

The AACC foundation awarded over $30,000 in scholarships last year, with the average scholarship being between $100 and $600.
