Located in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is the Baton Rouge Community College, a 2 year public community college that has been helping the area residents with both a great beginning to a university degree or what they need to step right into the job market.

Established on June 28, 1995 the Baton Rouge Community College has quickly grown to meet the demands of the area. Currently it is home to about 6,000 annual students who find the classes that they need at the college. They are located on a 60 acre campus that has some 21 buildings

Students who have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED can enroll in classes at the Baton Rouge Community College. They also have a program where students that are at least 16 years of age and are members of the local community high school can duel enroll to earn both high school credits and college credits at the same time.
