Located in Fall River, Massachusets is the Bristol Community College, a 2 year college where students can earn their associate degree or apply their earned credits to a higher university. The Community College also has career preparatory classes for those that want to start right into the work force.

Established in 1965, the Bristol Community College is home to roughly 6,600 students. They have since grown to house an additional 3 campuses in the area that are located in New Bedford, Attleboro, and Taunton.

If you are unable, or unsure that you are going to be able to afford a long stay in a university then attending the Bristol Community College is an inexpensive alternative. You can also attend the college in order to prepare for your GED and then move right into the college classes.
