GoldenWestCollege

Located in Huntington Beach, about an hour outside of Los Angeles is the Golden West College. They are a 2 year college that gives associate in arts degrees as well as college credit transfers to another University to their students. The Golden West College also offers adult education classes and preparatory college classes for those interested in jumping right into the workforce.

Located near the famous surf beach and just a short drive from the Disneyland park in California the Golden West College gives its students a diverse grouping of activities to choose from it their off hours. They can even get to the ski slopes within a half days drive! The college was founded in 1965 and serves about 13,000 students on an annual basis.

The Golden West College does offer online distance learning for its students. You log into your classroom through their distance learning interface in order to receive your assignments and learn of any deadlines for these classes. Online learning is becoming more popular as more people would like to continue their education but can't because of scheduling conflicts.
