Located in Santa Rosa in Sonoma County, California, the Santa Rosa Junior College is the tenth oldest community college in the state of California. Santa Rosa Junior College was founded in 1918 and was a smaller (or junior) version of the nearby Berkley University.

One thing that sets Santa Rosa Junior College apart from other community colleges is that they really give you a university feel without the baggage that can go along with an actual university. They are currently serving about 40,000 students per semester. They offer a wide range of classes from college preparatory to a great financial aid package.

They currently have 5 campuses including the 100 acre main campus, a financial center and a culinary arts center. They also operate a 365 acre farm near the Russian River.
